Learn how to raise your neurodivergent child with confidence

Alexis Roberson, licensed family therapist, provides parent coaching and live, virtual group programs to help families navigate the complexities of neurodivergent caregiving.

Redesign your parenting roadmap → build a deeper connection with your neurodivergent child or teen.

Hi, I’m Alexis.

I’m a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and my mission is to provide parents raising neurodivergent young people with education, tools, and deep support

When was the last time you felt confident about yourself as a parent? Empowered? Strong? Rooted in your intuition, clear-headed, and calm?

Let’s be honest, if your children are neurodivergent, mainstream parenting solutions simply may be ineffective at best, and harmful at worst. When things go sideways, parents usually blame themselves and feel buried under the fear that they (or their kids) just don’t measure up.

But I believe every parent is capable of learning and practicing effective, neurodiversity-affirming parenting strategies that tap into strengths and rebuild ease and connection in the family.

Client love

Alexis' course has been a lifeline
to my husband and me. We were feeling so overwhelmed and isolated as we tried to wrap our heads around our daughter's diagnosis and to learn how best to help her...

Client love

Alexis created a kind, and non-judgmental atmosphere where I felt free to share what was going on and receive support from the group. Its so simple, but but so essential to be able to share the little annoyances- and the little triumphs- that come with being a parent to a special child.

The Mission of Secure Parenting: Supporting Parents

Every child is worth it; that's my personal mantra.

I'm here to help as many families as I can, because in order to help children we need to support the systems they exist within.

With Secure Parenting, my focus is on supporting parents because you are on the front line. If parents aren’t supported, children pay the price, through ruptured attachments, increased vulnerability, and ongoing stress.

As a clinician and coach, I’m always looking for ways to increase caregiver wellness. This mission is at the core of who I am, both personally and professionally.
